Children’s entertainers Whizz Bang Pop are bringing their brand of fun to a live event next month. Packed with performances, music, games and competitions, this is the latest in a growing trend of festival-style events for children. And we are thrilled to have 2 pairs of tickets to give away!
The Whizz Bang Pop Festival on Saturday 26th July, will be held in Convent Fields, Lewes. Priced at £20 per ticket for the whole day, it looks to be very good value for money when you see the line up and compare to big household name tours from the likes of Peppa Pig. CBeebies favourite Sid Sloane (and local celebrity), Fireman Sam, Little Charley Bear are among the top names at the event with loads of local, well-loved entertainers on the bill too.
Aimed at 0 – 10 year olds there’s plenty for all ages to get involved, whether it’s something more active such as dance & soft-play or more creative sessions and even prizes for fancy dress.
The organisers have thought about catering for families with young children of varying ages, with baby-changing facilities and a breastfeeding area on the site.
“Our aim to bring a jam packed day of excitement for every child in a safe and fun environment. We’re aiming for a balance of local acts, national performers and interactive workshops to keep the little people busy. All of which will be in an enclosed beautiful outdoor space” says Sally Davis, Creative Director of Whizz Bang Pop.
All we can say, is they probably can’t guarantee the kids will sleep well that night but we’d surprised if they didn’t!
To win a pair of tickets for the 26th July, 2014 (worth £40, non-transferable) simply complete the Rafflecopter form below with your details and answer the question: what’s your best festival experience? The form also includes a link to our terms. Entries will close 11.30pm Friday 4th July, 2014

Beautiful moment!
Glastonbury has always been brilliant. Not tried with kids yet though!
never been to one before!
Good luck Kat, maybe this could be your first!
My best festival experience was seeing Stornoway at Hop Farm Festival in 2011 in a small(ish), hot tent with my husband, dare I say it, child-free for a weekend and then coming out into the fresh air, having some amazing food, a cider (or two) then watching The Eagles into the night - such a great low key festival, but what a weekend. All topped off with Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed and Morrissey the following night.
That’s sounds truly amazing! Lou Reed & Patti Smith???
Being a life long Brightonian I absolutely love the Brighton Festival. Particularly Kemp Town carnival or Ladyboys

Mine has to be seeing Nirvana at Reading. It was just after Kurt had been ‘unwell’ in Rome and he came on stage in a wheelchair wearing a long white robe. Rock and roll.
