Hasn’t this generation got it sorted? After Year 11 (GCSE year for old farts like me) they have to the choice to do @ncssummervolunteering2019 - This group of Year 11s chose to help @homelessperiodbrighton by collected donations of sanitary supplies and raising awareness of the problem. They will be in New Road all week so please go along with your donations and to show your support. #gowiththeflow #homelessperiod #endperiodpoverty @sanitaryproducts4all

This is the face of a mum who has had #headlice recently. This is the face of a mum whose children did NOT flippin’ have them at all. But I treated them anyway. 💪🏻 . But all is well because I have a new best friend! 😍 @hedrin_uk Protect and Go. After I treated myself with their awesome Shampoo, I have been using Protect and Go on myself and the kids as there is clearly a risk of getting head lice in the community. And so far, those pesky lice haven’t come back or spread to the girls. 🤞🏻It’s a leave-in conditioner that can be used on wet or dry hair, much like a detangling spray. And it’s smells delicious! 🍊 and 🥭 😌 . Those who have followed me for some time and the blog, know I have always been hot on head lice treatment and prevention, so mystified as to how I got them and the children didn’t! And we are so busy lately, I didn’t have the stomach for endless conditioner comb throughs. Although we keep up weekly checks. . This is how I roll now. #howdoyouhedrin . . . All opinions my own but I kindly received samples from Hedrin to try in the case my kids got them. Oh the irony! . . . . #headlicetreatment #busymum #workingmum #workingmumlife #mumlife #headliceprevention #headlicesuck #hedrinrocks

London with this one. Off to see my Canadian cousin I haven’t seen in 13 years! Can’t wait. Bribed this one with a trip to Hamleys and then touristy stuff for the Quebecois visitors. It’s soooooo muggy here. #londondaytrip #family #familyfun #meandmygirl #familyreunion

It’s a beautiful day Brighton. Enjoy the sunshine. I was fortunate enough to go breakfast networking at the newly refurbished @mercurebrighton on the seafront and take in a nice walk on the way. #brighton #brightonsunshine #i360

This Brighton mum couldn’t do any of life at the moment without this Brighton dad. This is us at the vets with a dying hamster. It’s not the first time he’s been at the vets with a dying hamster either. When we first met mine was very poorly. He held my sobbing hand while the vet put her to sleep. And last week, we found ourselves here again. Almost 15 years later. This time he was the emotional one, heartbroken for our little girl who was losing her pet. He’s such a wonderful father. Very sensitive to what the girls may be feeling, very patient and always makes sure their packed lunch is done, they have clean uniform and school trips are paid for. We are a team! #happyfathersday #fathersday #brightondad

Almost six months of plant-based eating. And I am still loving it. This a typical breakfast for me. I have a batch of roasted cherry toms on hand most days and avocado. I’m not going to call myself a vegan because although with food I’ve been 100% plant-based, alcohol I’ve found difficult. There is such a premium on vegan wine and it’s not always guaranteed to be nice - in fact some of them have been awful. As a wine fan I’m finding this hard. And I thought cheese would be the challenge but it hasn’t been at all! Wine has proven to be the bigger one. If anyone can recommend drinkable vegan wines between £7-£10 (shop retail price) I’d be grateful. #plantbased #plantbasedbreakfast #veganwine #veganalcohol #newtoveganism #newvegan #lovingplantbased #plantbasedlife

We absolutely cannot wait for the release of this book @generation_share - it’s about a wonderful movement and how it’s changing the world packed with inspiration from those who are leading the way in their communities and our society. There are heartwarming tales of sharing from all over the world and you can support the movement by preordering the book which launches next week. Global Sharing Week kicks off Monday. I’ve had the pleasure of watching @benitamatofska and @sophie_snap on their journey to make this beautiful work of art a reality. Not only is the photography incredible, it’s curated in a way that will make anyone think how they can engage in the sharing economy in their communities, at home or at work. We are supporting the movement by putting on a free digital marketing webinar about how to build powerful communities online. Check out how to grab your place over @claritadigital #generationshare #sharingeconomy #circulareconomy #peoplewhoshare #brightonsharers

Beach babes. All their own style. I love how they’re in control and just wearing what they feel. I know it will only be a few short years before fashion takes over. But I’ll try hard to empower them to wear what they feel most comfortable in. . . . . . #kidfashion #kidstyle #fashionexpression

Happy Bank Holiday everyone! What’s #Brighton up to? Festival? Escaping the city? We’re hanging out with fam. One of my fave things to do. One year ago we were called to my Nana’s nursing home to say goodbye. She hung out for a whole week after that call. True to form. So this weekend we raise a glass to her formidable style and influence on every generation after her. We miss you Nana but you’re with us every day. ❤️
