This month, uFlourish will be running their popular Pregnancy and Family Fair in Brighton. We’ve teamed up with them to feature some of the amazing local businesses taking part.
Who? Puddle Ducks
What’s it all about? A local company providing baby and pre-school swimming classes for children aged 0-5 at lovely warm pools in Brighton and across East Sussex and West Kent. Children can join their classes at any point in the term, subject to availability.
Why you should go and see them at the uFlourish fair? They will be offering discounts off their local classes to anyone who makes an enquiry on the day.
Their top 3 tips for expectant or new parents:
Here are some top tips specific to baby swimming:
- You can start swimming with your baby as soon as you are both ready, you don’t need to wait until they have had their jabs (current NHS advice).
- Choose a clean and well-managed pool, ideally heated to over 30°C.
- Don’t forget to take your own swimming costume/trunks and towel!
