After loving the Stokke Steps chair we were thrilled to be offered a steps bouncer to review too.
The Stokke Steps Bouncer (RRP £149) available at Kiddicare. arrived just before froglet was born so we got to have a play with it’s settings beforehand.
We chose the blue colour although the burnt orange is just as gorgeous too.
The Steps Bouncer is ready to use out of the box with it’s newborn insert already attached. Froglet looked comfy straight away. The seat dips backwards to make sure baby can’t slip and is really well cushioned. Perfect for our little one. At 6lb 3 (he dropped 10oz post birth) he was in the bouncer looking comfy and having regular naps too.
I know child safety in any product is paramount and so in case you were worried the bouncer it boasts a 5 point harness that is very similar to those found to secure baba into a buggy too.
I found this a great addition to the product as I was a little worried about Froglet being rocked by his sister. Like any sibling she wants to join in to help and allowing her to rock and talk to her brother while he was in the bouncer makes her feel involved.
Folding down it also simple so if you need to create space or what to take it on holiday/visits with you it goes down flat to save space or for easy transporting.
The rocking motion with the bouncer is very gentle so we use this when Froglet is nodding off. There’s also a toy arch for when he gets more active and has more alert periods too. I’m impressed with the quality, style and ease of use of the bouncer.
What colour would you pick for your newborn?
