Body Positive With Mum’s The Word

body positive

We’re delighted that Mum’s the Word is coming down to Brighton with signature mum’s meet ups and talks. This time they are bringing inspirational ladies Nat Lee, Style Me Sunday and Megan Jayne Crabbe to talk about our post-natal bodies and why we need to love them more!

Here’s what Mum’s the Word pitch about the event:

We all know that once we have a baby we change shape beyond our recognition; often this leads to negative feelings about our body & we forget the incredible things that our bodies have done (grown, birthed & fed our babies). If you’re tired of being at war with your body there are now two women on the block championing body positivity, giving us the power back and reminding us that our bodies are amazing - just the way they are.

AND we have tickets to give away. YAAAAAS! Two lucky winners will win a ticket to attend the event, which is also child-friendly (obvs). To enter, simply visit our Instagram post, comment, tag someone for an extra entry. Find the giveaway terms here.

The reason we love Mum’s the Word events so much, is we get to see familiar faces, learn stuff, explore issues facing mums and breathe because everyone in the room is practically in the same boat of motherhood chaos and juggling. We also meet a new local mum each time, another brick in our support network. We’ll be there with bells on, do come and say hi if you see Claire (me).

So get ready to mingle with other kick-ass Brighton mums (and leave your body hang ups at the door).

If you can’t stand the thought of missing out, then buy a ticket here. MTW has also just released tickets for Hollie McNish Mum’s Night Out in Tunbridge Wells on 4th October. Surely one not to be missed!
