Love Local: Cissbury Ring

A couple of weeks ago a friend and I decided to strap our babies on and trek up to Cissbury RingThe views are spectacular from the top of the ring, it would be a wonderful place to take children as you can see the sea, farms, and lots more. It took us around 45 minutes to walk from the car park up to the top, but we were carrying babies, so if you had children on foot it might take longer depending on how fast they walk!

Cissbury ring is an iron age fort, built around 2,500 BC and is the 2nd largest hill-fort in the country. It’s open all year round and is only a 15 minute drive from the centre of Worthing. There are places to eat in Findon village, we chose The Gun, which was perfectly family friendly with lots of space for high chairs in their dining room.
