Firstly, and most importantly there’s a bunch activities to amuse the kids in the family zone. Get ready for bouncy castles, simulators and entertainers plus come and say hi to me, Claire, on Saturday 10th June on the FOXY Lady Drivers Club Stand. I’ll have some family motoring goodies up for grabs in our exclusive giveaway.
Leasing Zone. You may have seen from our Instagram that I wrote off our car while driving in France. Fortunately, we have been able to use an old car of my parents (a Vauxhall Zafira, a proper mum-wagon) so we can carry on with work commutes and visiting my family. However, we will be looking to replace the car and leasing seems to be the way forward. Especially as I’m looking to reduce my impact on the environment but still have a car. So we will be heading over to chat with sponsors Rivervale to find out more about what’s on offer and how much a month a lease agreement could cost.
Test drive. This is something not really high on the list of priorities right now, going to a garage and checking out cars. But…as we’re at the motor show, I’m gonna put myself down for a test drive while there. How many of us really shop around like this when we buy cars? We really should do this as standard.
Car Care Zone. This is one of the most challenging areas of family motoring in my view, keeping the car clean, tidy with a tolerant scent (even after a child has barfed). This is high on my list to visit and get ideas to keep the family car looking and feeling awesome!
Go Karting Zone. Ok, I’ll be honest here. I’m not that fond of go-karting and not sure it’s the best idea so soon after my accident. BUT the track set up by QLeisure is set to be awesome, I’m definitely going to have a look. Watch their preview video.
The Sussex Safer Roads partnership will be at the show to raise awareness of driving and traffic safety and what we can do to reduce collisions in the county.
