Hopping Along

I’m sure most parents who are child of the 70’s & 80’s have very special memories of Space Hoppers. Happy times of throwing themselves around in the garden until they feel dizzy or racing on them at school sports day (I have an everlasting memory of my dad in a parents race on a Space Hopper).Thankfully, Happy Hopperz have bought all this into the 21st century with fun, practical bouncing toys in the shape of familiar creatures such as dogs, ponies and cows. We were lucky enough to try the reindeer, very festive for this time of the year (but sold out online). Although a little difficult to inflate (the valve is tricky to handle) once you’ve mastered it, this is really an impressive toy. The design of the bouncer allows the child to bounce and balance while holding on to handles (reindeers antlers in our case). Our daughter, who is two and a half, needed no help in learning how to mount, bounce and move around on the hopper, although the recommended age range is 3+.

It’s not too late to pick one up as a last minute Christmas treat. They retail at £21.99 and you can find a list of stockists on their website www.happyhopperz.co.uk. They would also make a unique gift, you can order direct from the site, postage and packaging is £5.99 plus each one comes wrapped in mirror gift bags.
