BrightonMums.com is proud to announce we have teamed up with Sussex Style Magazine, who will bring a some chic and sparkle to our brand new section, The Style Pages. We will also be giving them a slice of mama style, in a monthly column in the magazine.

Sussex Style MarchFlicking through the pages of Sussex Style feels like a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon, even when it’s drab and grey outside. The pages are dripping with inspiration and stories from our beautiful county. As devoted Sussex bloggers, it’s only natural we should want to collaborate. After all, many mums crave a bit of style inspiration amidst the fog of domesticity which envelopes their daily existence.

When you embark upon the crazy journey of parenthood, the quest to look and feel amazingly stylish round the clock slips down the priority list. This could be down to financial priorities, a new found perspective on what really matters or the ever popular ‘Can’t Be Arsed’ syndrome aka The CBAs.

But for those ladies who have always adored a little pamper and ceremony, setting free a flicker of the woman we’d like to remember is important. Our favourite red lipstick, a sumptuously soft bed spread or a faultlessly cooked meal in a restaurant is all we need to recharge and reinvigorate our identity as a woman (not just mum), stoke the coals which drive our strong will and confidence.

BrightonMums.com was born from a desire to write about what mum wants, mum needs. We spend enough time thinking about the kids and family life. So put the kettle on, your feet up and check out our new section The Style Pages. Prepare to be inspired.
