Norman Knights at the Castle

The closing event of an action-packed season, Norman Knights at the Castle will transport visitors back to 1102, just prior to the first siege of Arundel Castle.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the garrison of the then Earl of Arundel, Robert de Belleme, as the troops train in preparation to receive the forces of Kind Henry I in the Duke Henry Courtyard.

This two-day event will also feature craft, weapons and armour demonstrations in the Stone Hall and the Keep as well as archery and thrilling hand-to-hand combat, filling the ground with the sights, sounds and smells of the late Norman period.
