Up to 10 000 Nearly New items of clothing, toys & equipment will be on sale for parents-to-be and children aged 0-6. All items are pre-sorted so like items are placed together and most clothing is hung on rails (sorted by gender/age/type of clothing) making it easier to find what you want.

Entry is £1 for adults, free for children. NCT members get early entry at 10am (please bring proof e.g. your current membership card), the general public gain entry at 10.30am. The queue will be indoors & we’ll collect the entrance fee whilst you wait. We accept credit/debit cards (no transaction fee) as well as cash & provide free re-usable bags for your purchases. The venue is accessible for those with prams & baby change facilities are available. The sale is in the Boundary Room - stewards will direct you to the correct location & there will be plenty of signage/our banners so you can’t miss us.

There will be a cafe offering Starbucks Coffee, Tea & Herbal Teas (£1), Squash and Home Made Cakes & Biscuits (50p-£1) and Fruit (50p). All cakes/biscuits will be labelled and include options (subject to availability) for those who are vegan, lactose intolerant, require gluten free, egg free & need to know if it contains nuts. The cafe only accepts cash for purchases.

Although there is pay & display parking at the venue this is likely to be in great demand so we strongly suggest using Norton Road Car Park (5 mins walk) opposite the Town Hall (300 Spaces) up to 1hr £1, up to 2 hrs £2, up to 4 hrs £3. Machines take coin payment or you can pay by phone, phone app or mobile web. There is also on-street parking nearby for the same prices (max stay 2 or 4 hrs), subject to availability.

Hove Station is a 10 min walk away.

There are numerous options by bus too, which are all low floor access so you can wheel your pram straight on, subject to space being available. The 21 (Goldstone Valley-Western Rd-Churchill Sq-Queen Park-Marina) stops outside the Cricket Ground. There are 3 nearby stops which are a 5 minute walk from the Cricket Ground: Holland Road served by bus 7, Eaton Road is served by buses 2, 5, 5A, 5B & 46 and Palmeira Square is served by buses 1, 1A, 6, 25, 49 & 700.
