Day 22 - Doing The Bridge: A Trainers Favourite

Lucy from Lift PT’s favourite exercise is ‘The Bridge’ and here’s why…..

‘The Bridge’ is an excellent exercise, with many benefits; The main two are 1.) strengthens your lower back and entire core 2.) strengthens and firms your glutes/buttocks (whoop!). It’s important to have a strong core to support the rest of your body and help prevent back pain. And you’ll benefit from having strong glutes if you’re into any type of sport. This major muscle group is absolutelykey in running, jumping, lunging and kicking … so get down and lift those hips. You may also get a bum like Beyoncé — bonus!!
