Personal trainer Jason swears by these chocolate protein pancakes for a sweet treat around 400 calories per batch which makes 2 x large breakfast pancakes or 4 x snack size.
Packed with protein and slow release energy, add 1/2 teaspoon drizzle of honey for an additional 24 calories.
Ingredients:
1 scoop chocolate flavour whey
1 mashed banana
1 egg
1 scoop oats (use whey scoop to measure )
Combine all ingredients, add a little water if necessary to achieve a batter type consistency.
Fry in a lightly oiled pan for just a minute or two each side (cooking spray works in a non-stick pan).
