Day 10 - Go Sugar Free

Having one sugar-free day during Advent could help balance out the mince pie and chocolate tin grazing. One deep-filled mince pie is around 380 calories! So with a recommended daily intake of 2000 calories for women and 2500 for men, a couple of those as extra treats during one day could easily lead to weight gain. Be realistic and plan a sugar-free days when there’s no social events or cooking going on. Cut out sugary foods but the odd piece of raw fruit should be fine. A small banana is typically 100 calories, an apple is 14.
