Creating a spooky spread for Halloween

We love Halloween because it’s one holiday that doesn’t require us to spend loads on gifts or decorations. But that doesn’t mean we don’t celebrate! This Halloween, why not create a spooky spread for your little monsters? Here are some fantastic ideas we found on Pinterest- food that is guaranteed to tantalise and terrify!

We love these fun apple slices with mini marshmallows arranged to look like teeth- a perfect accompaniment for these gruesome cheesy eyeballs! And what to wash it down with? These mummy juice boxes are such fun and so easy to make. Simply wrap the cartons with bandages and add googly eyes for a terrible tipple no kid can resist!

Sticking with the slightly more healthy option this Halloween, we love these spooky banana ghosts and tangerine pumpkins- again, so easy to make and another cute and healthy Halloween snack we love the look of are these mini scary face pizzas, or ‘bloody mummy heads’ as they are fondly described!

If you’re looking to indulge this Halloween, we’ve also been drooling over some slightly more adult menu options too. What’s not to love about this baked Halloween Brie parcel, or these super fun mummy hotdogs? Lastly, no party is complete without a cake and we’ve fallen in live with so many this Halloween. Our top three have to be this bloody slash cake, this gorgeous pumpkin offering and the ultimate in all sweet endings: this superbly spooky Halloween tiered cake! How amazing would that look on your party table?

If you do decide to make an effort this Halloween, don’t forget to decorate your party table too. This doesn’t need to cost the earth either, and there are loads of ideas on Pinterest to help inspire you. These spider web jars are so easy to make, and they look fantastic. We also love these 25 DIY Halloween decorating tips on Babble- some great ideas to turn your home into a haunted mansion!

Will you be making a spooky spread this Halloween? Do let us know if you use any of these ideas!
