Review: Little Rascal - that’s my girl!

My Little Rascal

This fab little Rascal t-shirt is from a great company called Not Pink. Priced at £12.50 it comes in sizes 2-5years of age but as you can see my 19 month old had not issues with it’s size, the fact that it was a bit freer on her has made it quite a nice addition to her wardrobe.

How many buggies is too many?

maclarenxlrblacklarge

We are delighted to have a guest review from Brighton mum Charlee. She asks, how many buggies is too many for one household? Q. How many buggies does one goddamned household need?! A. Two. No, wait. One. Or possibly three, just to make sure all bases are covered… My husband looked at me goggle-eyed from the hallway this morning, while I signed the delivery driver’s clipboard and brought in yet another pushchair. Now, in fairness, [...]

Review: Maxima Family Charging Station

Price: Currently available at £14.99 via www.mobilefun.co.uk (normal price £34.99) As time goes on and more mobile phones hit the market, get upgraded and take up increasing amounts of space alongside their accessories in our homes, a growing feature of many households is a battle between phone chargers for plug socket space, often meaning a tangled mess of cables. The Maxima Family Charging Station is an easy and environmentally friendly solution to this problem – [...]

Review: Little Babybugs Nappy

With memories of Strawberry Shortcake the lovely ladies at Little Babybugs http://www.facebook.com/LittleBabybugsLtd sent me their strawberry nappy to try. The first thing I noticed was the very soft outer of the nappy and it’s vibrant strawberry print. In comparison to other nappies it does only come with one insert which is heavily padded rather than two thin padded inserts. I did find that this nappy was fab for daytime but unfortunately it didn’t work out [...]

It’s the little things that are done differently with the second child

It may come as no surprise that a survey of 3,000 mothers commissioned by leading nursery brand Munchkin revealed that 75% feel more relaxed with their second child. I’m on the cusp of giving birth to baby number two and often try to imagine what life with two offspring is going to be like. Reading the results of this survey helped answer a few questions, although I know that each child, each family is different. [...]

Review: Working Mums Chic

I have been moaning a lot about changing bags recently - I needed one that would fit a working mum, at home mum and a mummy that wants to be chic. The La Salle change bag from Mummy Looks Fab has everything a working or non working mummy needs. It doesn’t look like the average messenger style change bag, in fact it looks like a bag made for the mummy rather than the baby. With [...]

Review: Cuddledry Cuddlesafari Towel

Daddy McCann tests out the Cuddlesafari Towel. It’s a fact that seldom gets reported, but you can take pretty much any toddler in the world, however adorable, and still increase their cuteness exponentially by dressing them up as a giraffe. Cuddledry understand this only too well, which is one of the reasons their giraffe-a-like Cuddlesafari towel is so full of win. As well as looking brilliant (and this isn’t just my opinion - our girl [...]

Review: Toddler Lunch Bag

When Babymel sent us their lovely lunch bag I was impressed straight away. We’d been using a mini cool bag that was quite bulky but Fizz took to this briefcase style lunch bag really quickly as it was easy for her to carry. The babymel lunch bag retails £12.50 and can be found at Babymel - it is quite roomy and we manage to get a lunch as well as snacks for Fizz in hers!

Review: Unique Books for Unique Kids

Megan from Unique Editions kindly asked me to review a book from their site http://www.unique-editions.co.uk/. These are children’s books suitable from birth upwards, which are personalized for your child. I ordered the book on the website, personalizing for my daughter, and then received it. First let’s get the only negatives out the way. The website had some glitches and it took me about 2 hours to get my baby’s personal details and photo to upload. [...]
