Get Creative in Brighton
‘Get Creative in Brighton’ runs both regular termly and holiday-time workshops.
DRAMA TOTS: A gentle and fun session for 18 months - 4 year olds, and their mums, dads or carers. Full of story-telling, puppets and dressing up. Every Monday Term-time morning, 9:30 - 11am. Cost £5 a session (£3 siblings) if booked in advance. £6 drop-ins.
DRAMA CLUB: For Primary aged children, focusing on self-esteem, confidence, creativity, team-work, achievement and, above all, enjoyment! Full of dressing up, drama games and fun improvisations. Meeting once a month on a Saturday morning. 9:30 -11am. Cost £5 a session (£3 siblings) if booked in advance.
DRAMA WORKSHOPS: These are similar sessions to the DRAMA CLUB and take place in holiday time. Get Creative In Patcham also runs these Workshops in local schools and nurseries.
‘MAKING’ WORKSHOPS: A time for mums, dads and carers to have fun with arts and crafts, creating at least 3 different items (such as masks, puppets, greeting cards) with their children - always with fantastic results! Cost £4.50 (£3.50 siblings). NEXT ONE: Half Term.
DRAMA DAYS!: Themed Drama Days (eg. Superhero, Circus, Halloween…). These take place in school holiday times at Patcham Memorial Hall. Cost £25 a day (£20 siblings).
STORYTELLING: for children aged 1 - 4 years old! They’ll be books, dancing, puppets and dressing up every Friday, at the lovely new Seaside venue ‘Small Folk Run’ (44-45 Kings Road Arches), ideally situated near the children’s playground, by the West Pier.
PARTIES!: Children’s themed parties, eg Frozen, Superheroes, Fairies, Pirates, Princesses.
N.B. All workshops (except the Drama Days and Storytelling) take place at Patcham Methodist Hall, Ladies Mile Road.
Get Creative in Brighton is run by Louisa Fitzgerald, a qualified and experienced teacher (Mummy of three) and actress with EQUITY membership.
