Experienced/ Qualified Sole Charge Care Nanny available from October

Hello Parents!

I am an outgoing, responsible and fun individual available from October 2014 for permanent work. I lived with my previous family in Battersea for over two years. It was such an enjoyable experience, however, I wish to obtain my own property, which means that a live-in position is no longer viable for me. I also always wanted to go travelling, which brings me to where I am now!

I left at the end of March and arrive back in the UK middle/ end of September so will be available for interviews then, or via Skype before then. Once back, I have no other commitments and will be living in the Brighton/ Hove area. I am an extremely reliable individual and have never taken a sick day. I am also punctual and organised, which comes in handy if the children have a busy schedule with lots of activities to attend.

I am looking for a full-time position (Monday-Friday) with a family of preferably two or three children; I like to be kept busy! However, I am also happy to take on an only child or twins! I would prefer to stay with one family for as long as possible as I feel it is important for children to have a secure and stable upbringing.
I prefer working with younger children and babies as I feel that I can form a stronger bond with them as they grow and develop their own personality. I was lucky enough to be in the house when the youngest child I cared for at my previous family was born, so I have first-hand experience with newborns and would love to do this again.

During the two and a half years with my previous family, I also cared for several other families’ children in my spare time, including twins, but mainly for families with two children, so have numerous references readily available. I am comfortable with having the children overnight occasionally, as was often the case in my previous job when work called the mother away from home for a few days.

I enjoy cooking so will take great pleasure in cooking yummy, healthy meals for the family. Sports and fitness is also a passion of mine that I love to get the children involved with. I also love animals so if you have any pets, it will be a bonus.

I have a Childcare Diploma (Level 3) and completed my Advanced Psychology Diploma (Level 4) this year, both of which have provided me with useful knowledge in making the degree of care I provide even better.
My CRB (DBS) check and First-Aid course were both completed approximately three years ago so might need updating; I will look into this when I am back. I also hold a full UK driving licence.

I feel that I can bring stability and a fun, loving environment to the upbringing of children and hope that you will consider me for the role.
Please contact me via email or phone for my CV, references or any other information you wish to know about me. I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

Thank you!
