When The Gro Company offered to send us something from their range we knew straight away what we would ask for. In exchange for an honest review The Gro Company sent us their black out blind free of charge. Living on the top of a hill with south facing windows had given us too many early rises from our toddler.

The Gro Anywhere blind seemed ideal for to help shut out the light and darken her room ready for bedtime. Priced at the same price (29.99) as a black out blind for a smallish window this portable blind is fabulous.

What they say:

• Adapts to fit any window up a maximum of to 130cm x 200cm
• Size can be reduced by around a third of its maximum size
• Comes with handy travel bag

For us it took a bit of knack getting the fabric pulls to downsize the blind but it was up and ready to work in about 20 minutes. Once done it’ll will definitely be easier the next time.

Fizz loved the ‘twinkle stars’ on the fabric and for the first night in ages she slept for 12 hours! It was amazing. With the blind we have averaged 11 hours sleep. Before we got about 8-9 on days the sun was shining.

The great thing about this blind is it really is portable. We have used it in our living room when watching a movie in the day!
