It’s a one piece sling suitable from birth to toddler and able to adapt to the size of your baby. Unlike most slings it is sized to mamma. I picked a size 14-16 which would also be suitable for a small daddy size too.
It fit snugly and felt very supportive. The fabric crosses over at the shoulder for additional support and shows a flash of colour. It made me feel quite funky as the coral and brown colour blended well with my dark coloured wardrobe.
Although I wouldn’t recommend sling wearing the Lifft as a constant source of support for mamma and a baby past 9 months I found it highly usable and adaptable. I used a babasling in the early days but packed it away come 7 months as Fizz was too big and I felt that she could easily fall out. However, the Lifft sling does pretty much the same job yet unlike babaslings I felt that both of us were very supported whilst wearing.
My Lifft sling was provided on loan by Bras 4 Mums who also provide lovely underwear for Mammas. Their customer service has been great with me so far and all without the sale. They can provide bra fittings for Mums and I am hoping to test out this service more.
The Lifft sling retails at £49.99 or £79.99 for two and can be found here.
